Training Prerequisites For A Phlebotomist

Louisiana is one of the three states in the USA that has made it mandatory for phlebotomists to be certified.

Phlebotomy training in Louisiana usually takes around 12 weeks, although it also depends on the college and the hours/schedule requirements.

  • The American Society of Clinical Pathologists
  • The National Phlebotomy Association
