The Health Training Center will train you to draw blood using the venipuncture technique, collect specimens, perform quality assurance practices, understand body systems, and control infections. Students receive two hours a week of supervised tutoring at no extra cost and are given a 120-hour Monday through Friday internship as part of their learning. The Phlebotomy Tech program can be completed in 150 hours (or 10/week) for just over $2,000.
